The Omni R&D 1200°C High-Temperature Dual-Tube Furnace with Atmosphere Injector is an advanced instrument that combines superior heating capabilities, a specialized dual-tube design, and an integrated atmosphere injector. This unique configuration allows researchers to directly inject the necessary atmosphere onto materials, promoting complete reactions and uniform temperature distribution. The horizontal sample placement within the inner tube enables gas to flow simultaneously into both tubes, ensuring even temperature distribution for film growth, electrode testing, oxide crystal growth, and annealing processes.
The furnace is powered by a 4 HP heating system, operating on AC208-240V, 50/60Hz, with a maximum temperature of 1200°C (sustainable for 1 hour) and a continuous working temperature of 1100°C. The recommended heating rate is 15°C/min or less. Temperature control is managed by a PID controller with auto-tuning, providing precise regulation within ±1°C. The controller features 30 programmable segments for customized heating profiles and includes built-in protection against overheating and broken thermocouples.
The heating zone measures 17.3 inches in length, with a constant temperature zone of 7.87 inches. The heating elements are made from Fe-Cr-Al alloy resistance wire doped with molybdenum.
